St James Presbyterian Church

Built in 1905, this is a wooden church with a steep gabled roof and arched windows in the style of Victorian gothic. The church is at present closed due to the need for earthquake strengthening.
The original associated St James Hall was built in 1896. A replacement hall was built on same site and dedicated October 1992.
